A message from your City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services Director Rodney Jamison

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rodney Jamison and I am the director of the City of
Charlotte Solid Waste Services (SWS). Thank you for allowing the staff at SWS to serve you. We
take great pride in providing you with quality service. Our commitment to you has and continues
to be to provide you with service on your scheduled day of collection while simultaneously
keeping your neighborhood and our city clean. To do that, we need your help.

We are asking that you do not park on your street on your collection day and to make sure all
carts are placed three feet away from all objects. These issues can create unsafe conditions for
the collection of materials and increase the risk of damage to personal property. We are asking
if you would adhere to these changes as soon as possible.

We appreciate your partnership in helping keep your neighborhood clean and safe. Please feel
